With an influence that knows no limits, Sharon Osbourne is a music manager, a talented and experienced promoter, media personality, television presenter, talent competition judge, author, entrepreneur, and businesswoman.
Early Life & Career
Sharon Rachel Levy was born on October 9, 1952, in Brixton, London, to music promoter and rock and roll entrepreneur Don Arden and his wife Hope Arden.
Sharon began her path in the world of entertainment by working with her father who was at the time the manager of Black Sabbath. During this time she met Ozzy Osbourne and the two began dating in 1979. Three years later, in 1982, the couple decided to get married.
Marriage and Family Life
On July 4, 1982, Sharon and Ozzy were married in Malawi, Hawaii, but since then their union has had many ups and downs. In 2016, despite many years of conjugal drama, it was a shock to many when the iconic duo announced that they were ending their marriage after 33 years together. However, a few months later, she announced their reconciliation on the show ‘The Talk’. The couple’s marriage is set to be adapted to the big screen in an upcoming feature film.

The couple also has three children, who all actively work in the entertainment industry. The Osbourne family is known for its exuberance and eccentric lifestyle. However, Sharon is also known for enjoying the little things in life, such as a classic bingo game. She is a big enthusiast of this iconic game and has even launched her own bingo website in 2009.
This comes as a result of bingo’s recent surge in popularity, which has led the game to become one of the most popular online and even inspire unique live events, such as themed raves featuring bingo games. These raves by Bada Bingo are, quite fittingly, a more lively version of bingo and have been embraced by the community and newcomers alike, who can be found getting Bada Bingo tickets for the next event. From what we know of Mrs. Osborne’s fun-loving personality, this new iteration of the game would likely suit her down to the ground.
Ever since taking over her father’s business, Sharon has never left the entertainment and music industry. She even launched her own business, Sharon Osbourne Management, which manages several successful artists, including her own husband. In 2002, Sharon Osbourne gained celebrity status and successfully negotiated a deal with MTV for a show based on her family’s life, The Osbournes. The show made the family even more famous and came with a big paycheck. As a result, Sharon also got her own solo show, The Sharon Osbourne Show.
However, it was when she was invited to be a judge in X-Factor that Sharon entered mainstream culture. She worked on the talent show from 2004 to 2007, when she left for America and joined America’s Got Talent as a judge from 2007 to 2012. She also famously co-hosted the CBS talk show, The Talk, for 11 years, which she left last year.
Since then, Sharon Osbourne has expanded her business and, in addition to managing talents and being a TV star, she became a successful author. She has published four books, three autobiographies, Extreme (2006), Survivor (2008) and Unbreakable (2014); and a novel, Revenge (2010). Currently, it is estimated that her net worth amounts to a staggering $220 million.
Sharon Osbourne has proven in many ways that she is not the kind of person who gives up or runs away from challenges. At 69, she is still working and making TV appearances both on reality TV and television shows.
