In the new episode, she will face a returning champion Alec Chao and Michael Murphy, a test engineer from Gilroy, California. Alec is a strategic planning and performance analyst at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
A native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, he booked his place for the net episode after becoming Thursday’s episode champion with a total score of $15,505. In the first round, he scored $7,200 and became a champion after scoring $15,200 in the second round.

Ghattas is making her Jeopardy debut on Friday, 24 March 2023. She has been a regular viewer of the show for years and was in the process of appearing on the show for a long time. Besides, she is a fan of the host of the show Ken Jennings.
Out of about 100,000 interested candidates, she comes in with 400 to 450 people who get an opportunity to participate in the show. She became eligible to compete after a series of tests and interviews.

Ghattas has shared about her husband’s immense support on her journey to Jeopardy. She thanked her husband for his sacrifice as he used to take their kids out on adventures so that she can study.
The pair is involved in charity work as per their respective Facebook posts. Tamara donated to her birthday fundraiser for Seraj Library Project in February 2023.
As of now, Ghattas resides with her husband and two sons in Chicago, Illinois.
