Myles Karp Wiki: Get To Know The Jeopardy Contestant

Myles Karp is the new contestant on America’s favorite quiz show Jeopardy! He will appear on the 30th episode of the 39th season of the show on 10 February 2023.

On Friday’s episode, he will compete alongside the returning champion Mira Hayward and Libby Hsu, a  Lecturer & Associate Director from Revere, Massachusetts.

Mira became a one-day champion after scoring $14,600 on Thursday’s episode of the show. Hailing from Portland, Oregon, she scored $5,400 in the first round and $10,600 in the second round.

Karp is looking forward to being a new champion on Friday’s episode. On appearing on the show, he stated that this was a dream come true as he is a lifelong megafan of the iconic answer-and-question show.

As per his wiki, Myles is 32 years old now. He was born in the year 1990 and his birthday falls on the 20th of April.

Karp was raised by his parents in Weston, Florida. His father is Stephen Karp and his mother is Elisa Karp. The youngest child in the family, he has a brother named Ross Karp.

Is Myles Karp Married Now?

Myles does not seem to be a married man as per his social media posts. Surfing his Instagram posts, he is enjoying his singlehood so far.

Th 32-year-old is a music lover and has been passionately playing instruments since he was a toddler. His bio states that he loves playing repetitive ambient music on the guitar and recording insect sounds.

Karp is a journalist and freelance research and strategy consultant by profession. Based in Costa Rica, he writes about topics ranging from exotic fruit to forgotten episodes in Latin American history.

As per his Linkedin, he has been holding freelance jobs for the past eight years. Prior to that, he worked as a researcher at National Geographic and spent time working in the United Kingdom.

Myles has developed and consulted on television content for shows including HBO’s Vice and National Geographic’s Explorer. From 2014 to 2016, he worked advertising agency named Flamingo.
