Gareth Barlow is a British journalist and newsreader known for his work on television and radio. Currently, he works as a senior reporter and presenter at BBC News.
An award-winning broadcaster, he covers the world’s largest news stories. Moreover, he has hosted live news programs and presented some of the world’s most popular podcasts. He has also worked as a correspondent and voice-over artist.
Barlow joined the BBC News as a newsreader in 2017. He then served as a global news journalist and correspondent before taking the responsibility of senior reporter from 2019 to 2022.

Gareth Barlow Was A Farmer Before Being A Journalist
Barlow became a first-generation farmer at the age of 17 in 2007. He sold his Xbox and bought six sheep with the money to start his farming venture.
Within several years, his farming began growing and became a supplier of lamb to Michelin-starred restaurants and some of the country’s leading restaurants. Furthermore, he worked on the Prince of Wales’ farm, trained as a butcher, and also worked as a slaughterman.
