Hannah Darling is a Scottish amateur golfer who ranks no. 14 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. She has a best WAGR rank of no. 6 this year.
The golfer made her first Augusta National Women’s Amateur in 2022, where she finished T-27. Eventually, she became the first Scottish woman to play a competitive round at the tournament. Similarly, she missed advancing to the final round by one stroke in her second appearance in 2023.
Darling is set to make her third appearance in the Augusta National Women’s Amateur after securing an invitation for the 2024 edition in April. She was among 43 players eligible for the tournament once again through the World Amateur Golf Ranking who accepted invitations.
Collegiately, she plays at the University of South Carolina and is in her junior year. She reached the semi-finals of the Women’s Amateur Championship in 2022. She began her 2023-2024 collegiate season with three top 20s, including finishing joint-seventh in the Jackson T. Stephens Cup.

Likewise, she secured her first career victory after being crowned co-champion of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in March 2024. She also helped win her college the Therese Hession Regional Team Challenge at Palos Verdes Golf Club in California in February 2024.
Hannah won the St Rule Trophy and was a semi-finalist in the Scottish Women’s Amateur Championship and the Women’s Amateur Championship in 2021. She was a runner-up in the Helen Holm Scottish Women’s Open Championship and won the Girls Amateur Championship beating Beth Coulter in the final.

In July 2017, she became the youngest winner of the Scottish Girls’ Amateur Championship, aged 13. The next year, she became the inaugural winner of the British Girls U16 Amateur Golf Championship.
Furthermore, she has competed in the Curtis Cup representing Great Britain and Ireland in 2021 and 2022. She represented Europe in the Junior Solheim Cup in 2019.
