Just celebrating that show I have been watching for so long, it was so amazing to be part of it.
Part of it is passing the test, but even if you pass the test, it’s kind of luck of the draw at this point, and I got lucky; it only took me two times instead of a dozen times like some people go through.
Hayes’s Jeopardy! debut will air on 16 September 2025. As a new challenger on Tuesday, he will compete with the returning four-day champion, Paolo Pasco.
Paso, a puzzle writer from San Diego, California, now has total earnings of $107,342. He recorded his fourth straight win on Jeopardy! on Monday.
Apart from Pasco, Hayes will face Susan Harris, a professor from Chicago, Illinois, on Tuesday.
