Robbie Ellis is an orchestra manager and composer from Chicago, Illinois. He will be appearing as a contestant on the 42nd season of Jeopardy.

Likewise, his debut episode on the longest-running trivia game show airs on Friday, 31 October 2025. There, he will meet two more contestants, including a returning champion from the previous episode.

Ellis seems to be in his 40s now. He was born somewhere in the 1980s.

As per wiki, he is originally from Auckland, New Zealand, which makes him New Zealand by nationality. He moved to the United States in 2015 and then settled in Chicago, Illinois.

Robbie completed his high school education at Westlake Boys High School, graduating in 2002. He then wen to the University of Auckland and earned a Bachelor’s Degree, majoring in European Studies and Composition, with lesser concentrations in Theatre, Languages and History.

Likewise, he is a part-time on-air personality at Classical WFMT in Chicago, where he hosts Sunday Afternoons with Robbie Ellis. As a music director at Chicago Magic Lounge, he plays organ and keyboard for magic shows.

Besides, he is a Pre-Concert Host at Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Grant Park Music Festival, Classical Music Chicago, and APOLLO’S FIRE Baroque Orchestra. He has been a music director at Annoyance Theatre for mover a decade.

Robbie has worked as a music director & teacher at The Second City and Teacher Malarkey Comedy Company. Prior to that, he was a Music Producer at Radio New Zealand and worked for RNZ Concert, New Zealand’s national fine music public radio station.

Ellis has been enjoying married life with his wife, Jennifer Stuart. The duo exchanged the wedding vows on 5 June  2021 in Chicago, Illinois.
