Jennifer Ludden is an American veteran journalist known for her work at National Public Radio (NPR). She serves as a National correspondent covering economic inequality for NPR’s National Desk.

She also edited stories on climate and energy, working with NPR staffers and public radio reporters across the country.

Both the couple share the same workplace; her husband Gerry serves as the managing editor of enterprise & planning at NPR.  A 1985 graduate of George Washington University, he has worked as a Paris Bureau Producer and Middle East Bureau Chief at ABC News.

Together, Jennifer and her husband are raising two sons named Alexander Holmes and Aidan Holmes. The family of four now resides in Washington, DC.
