Liam Rosenior is an English professional football manager and former player. He is the son of a football coach and pundit, Leroy Rosenior.
As of now, he serves as the head coach of French Ligue 1 side RC Strasbourg. Moreover, he joined the club on a three-year deal on 25 July 2024.
Prior to that, he spent more than two years as a manager at English Championship side Hull City. He was sacked by the club on 7 May 2024.
Rosenior began his managerial career, taking up the position of assistant coach with his former club Brighton’s under-23 team. In 2019, he was appointed as a specialist first-team coach to Phillip Cocu at Derby County and later took the position of assistant manager. Later, on 24 June 2022, he took over as interim manager.
As a player, he played either as a full-back or a winger on different clubs in his native England. He began his career with Bristol City as a midfielder before joining the Premier League side Fulham in 2003.
There, he was loaned to Torquay United of the Football League Third Division, managed by his father Leroy. He dedicated his career to other clubs such as Reading, Hull City, and Brighton & Hove Albion.
Besides, Liam has internationally represented England U20 and England U21 teams. He has also appeared as a pundit on Sky Sports.

Rosenior is now the leading contender to replace Italian Enzo Maresca, who left Chelsea on 1 January 2026. His current team RC Strasbourg is owned by the same group as Chelsea.
