Roy first earned the PGA Tour card for 2023 after finishing 24th on the Korn Ferry Tour’s points list in 2022. During his 31 PGA Tour events, he made nine cuts and finished in the top-25 of a tournament three times.
However, he lost his PGA Tour status and later regained it through the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour rankings. He recorded 7 top-10s and two runner-up finishes to regain his status.
In the 2025 PGA Tour season, he earned 8 top-20 finishes, including a T3 finish at the 2025 John Deere Classic. He has now played more than 60 PGA Tour events to date.
Kevin turned professional in 2012, following his four years of collegiate career at Long Beach State University. There, he was named the 2012 first team all-Big West as a senior.
Earlier, he competed on satellite tours for the first few seasons of his career. During a season on the PGA Tour Latinoamerica in 2015, he made just one cut in 10 starts.
After failing to play a single pro event in 2017, he worked in medical sales and at Bellevue Country Club in Syracuse before deciding to give it another try.
