The singer and songwriter of age 34 was born in 1986 in Chicago, Illinois, United States. She celebrates her birthday every year on September 5.

Ezra’s father belonged to a Jewish family due to which, her mother converted to Judaism.

Furman grew alongside three siblings. Her younger brother Jonah was a lead singer in the Boston-based rock band Krill while her elder brother Noah is a visual artist.

Being American by nationality, Furman follows Judaism.
