On Friday’s episode, Ben will test his trivia skills against the current one-day champion, Nik Berry, and a Marketing Director from Chesapeake Beach, Maryland, Taylor Clagett.
Nik, a Social Studies Teacher from Baltimore, Maryland won on his debut on Thursday. In what was one of the most competitive games ever, Nik came out victorious and he added $9,601 to his winning purse.
Nik was up against the promising two-day champion, David Bederman, and a Publishing Consultant from New York City, Toula Ballas. Before the start of the Final Jeopardy round, Nik had $10,200 while David was leading the pact with $14,800.
Although Toula only came up with the correct answer in the final round, Nik went on to win the competition with the slightest margin. He came away with $9,601 while Toula managed $9,590 and David had $9,199.
Now, it’s up to Ben to make his mark on his Jeopardy! debut and stun the current one-day champion. Don’t forget to catch the new episode on 21 July 2023.
