Furthermore, she made her Grand Slam debut at the 2023 Wimbledon Championships after qualifying for the main draw. However, she lost to Russian Anastasia Potapova in the first round.
As a junior, she achieved a career-high ranking as world No. 4 on 5 December 2022. She won the girl’s tournament at the Trofeo Bonfiglio in the same year.

Naef reached the final of the 2022 French Open, partnering with Czech Nikola Bartůňková. She played in the final of the European Youth Championship in June 2022 but lost to Andorran Victoria Jiménez Kasintseva in the final.
