Prior to that, she served as a lead reporter at an ABC affiliate WISN 12 News, the #1 news station in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. There, she was involved in breaking the biggest news and reported live on-location daily.
From 2019 to 2021, served as an anchor and multimedia journalist at WIFR 23 News, a CBS and The CW Plus affiliate in Rockford, Illinois. At WIFR, she created on-air and web content for the 5, 6, and 10 p.m. shows, and anchored the 4 pm newscast called First at 4. Additionally, she helped the station launch the market’s first weekday 4 pm newscast and also anchored it.

Courtney attended Grayslake Central High School in Grayslake, Illinois. There, she was the school’s varsity cheerleading captain in her sophomore year where she led the team to a 6th place finish at the Illinois State Competition.
Moreover, she went on to compete in Allstar cheerleading and spent some time junior year running track for the JV team. In her senior year, she was in a public service class where she ran local food drives, organized breakfasts for veterans, ran backpack and school supply drives, directed the school talent show, and many other school fundraiser activities.
