I haven’t been able to say anything publicly until now, but after going through a series of online tests and auditions I got the call from Jeopardy in February, and flew out to LA in March for taping. As one of the challengers on Friday’s episode, Carpenter will lock horns with the returning three-day champion, Brendan Liaw. The graduate student and stay-at-home son from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, enjoys a winning total of $59,398 from his terrific winning streak.
