On the 15 March episode of Jeopardy, she will face a returning champion Will Stewart, a political organizer from Nashville, Tennessee. Likewise, the other contestant is Grant DeYoung, a grocery clerk from Prescott, Arizona.
Will became a three-day champion after winning yesterday’s episode. He has bagged total winnings of $70,501.
Olson has tried to appear on Jeopardy! four or five times over more than three decades. Despite passing the initial tests and making it to auditions, she never got an opportunity to be chosen as a contestant.
A lifelong Jeopardy fan, she made another attempt in 2022 and took an online test. After a series of online tests and interviews, she was informed that she is eligible to appear on the show in March 2024.
In April 2024, she went to the Sony Pictures Studio in Culver City, California for the taping of the show. On being the Jeopardy contestant, she shared her experience stating,
I was super excited, but I was also nervous because I feel like over the last few years, my quickness has sort of gone down. But, I thought, you know, I have a new resolution to do things that scare me, so I certainly said ‘yes.’

Kathy Olson has reached the age of 60 now. She was born Kathleen Kay Olson in 1963 and her birthday falls on 19 December.
A native of Arlington, Virginia, she spent her early life with her parents and family there, Her family includes an elder brother and an elder sister named Kirsten Olson Pruski.
