The reporter joined the WISN 12 News team in August 2022. Prior to that, she was a multimedia journalist at WNEM TV5, a dual affiliate of CBS and MyNetworkTV, licensed to Bay City, Michigan.
During her two years at WNEM, she hit the ground running reporting on stories that caught and kept the nation’s attention such as the Flint water crisis and Oxford High School shooting. Likewise, her coverage of a 500-year flood that devastated the village of Sanford was included in a news special recognized with a Michigan Association of Broadcasters Journalism Excellence award.
Keys has a passion for breaking news and being at the heart of the action. She has been involved in storytelling since her college days and was a news director at Indiana University Student Television and co-hosted shows including What’s Up Weekly.
Similarly, she interned at CBS affiliate WANE-15 in Fort Wayne and NBC affiliate WTHR-13 in Indianapolis. At the beginning of her career, she worked as a legal secretary at Tourkow, Crell, Rosenblatt, & Johnston Law Office.
