Soborno Isaac Bari is a professor of Computer Science and Physics at MIT. Moreover, he is a fourth grader at Davison Avenue Intermediate School and takes eighth-grade classes at Howard T. Herber Middle School.

Bari was just seven years old when he became a guest professor at the Ruia College of Mumbai University. He had a gifted skill of solving Physics, Math, and Chemistry problems since the young age of two.

Similarly, Bari was just six years old when he received recognition from Harvard University for his problem-solving abilities and was accepted into New York City’s gifted and talented program. He was then interviewed by Oscar nominee Malisa McCarthy on NBC’s Little Big Shots.

Recently on 26 June 2024, Soborno became the youngest person to graduate in history at age 12 from the Malverne High School. He has earned a scholarship at New York University.

Previously, Bari had a fast-paced schooling as he got promoted from 4th to 8th grade and then from 9th to 12th grade.

Soborno was born to his Bengali parents. His folks immigrated from Bangladesh to the United States in 2000.

His father, Rashidul is a Doctoral Candidate at Columbia University. Besides, he serves as a Physics Teacher at Brooklyn Technical High School. Likewise, he teaches Mathematics at Bronx C. College.

Rashidul completed his Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics at Columbia University in 2020. Previously, he earned a Master’s degree in Physics Education at New York University in 2015.

Meanwhile, Soborno’s mother, Shaheda is also a teacher by profession.

It was Soborno’s parents who first observed that he could talk in full sentences at just six months old.

Soborno Isaac Bari’s Career As the Youngest Professor

At age 12, Soborno is already writing history as the youngest professor. He has been giving lectures across accomplished universities in the United States.

Bari was just seven when he received his first salary as a guest professor at the Ruia College of Mumbai University. Since then, he has offered lectures at many Indian universities, including Sacred Heart College and Geeta Jevon College.
