During his next try, Wilson was in college, and he went to Washington, D.C., for the college tournament. In his third attempt, he was living in Lancaster, and he went to Boston for an audition for the main show.
Finally, Wilson fulfilled his dream in his fourth attempt as he received a call from the showrunners on 16 December 2024. Sharing his experience of making it into his favorite television show, Wilson said.
It’s been a life goal forever. I’m really, really excited. I’m kind of nervous, but I think the excitement is going to overwhelm the nervousness.
As a contestant on Tuesday, Wilson will go head-to-head with the returning champion, Andrew Hayes. The law student from Tupelo, Mississippi, enjoys a total of $98,603, following his four straight wins on Jeopardy!
Apart from Hayes, Wilson will share the stage with an operations executive from New York, New York, Dondi DeMarco.
