Karki achieved his highest-career ranking of World No. 49 in the ITF Junior Circuit on 28 April 2025. He has won 18 games and lost 12 games in his junior career.

Karki was born in East Brunswick, New Jersey, United States, in 2007. He is 17 years old and he blows out his birthday candles on the 23rd of November every year.
Talking about his family, Karki is the son of his Indian immigrant parents, Trilok Karki and Kanhan Joshi. Both belonging to Mumbai, India, his folks relocated to the United States in 2001, where Karki was born and brought up.
