American track and field sprinter Abby Steiner holds the US indoor record in the 200 meters and 300 meters respectively. She completed the 200 m race in the time of 22.09 (her personal best) at the SEC Track & Field Championships at Texas A&M on 26 February 2022.

Likewise, she took 35.54 to complete the 300 m race at Armory Track & Field Center, New York on 11 February 2022. She is also the NCCA record holder for the 200 meters.
Steiner has personal bests of 10.90 seconds in 100 meters and 21.77 seconds in 200 meters. She became the US Champion in the 200 meters in June 2022.
Moreover, she became first in the 4×100 m relay and 4×400 m relay at the 2022 World Athletics Championships. She has been a two-time NCAA Indoor 200m Champion in 2021 and 2022.
Abby was a dual-sport scholarship athlete at the University of Kentucky (UK). She was both a soccer player and a track athlete for four years from 2018 to 2022.

Steiner is the youngest of three children and has older twin siblings Riley Steiner and Jack Steiner. Her sister Riley played girls’ lacrosse at Dublin Coffman High School. She was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2014.
