Galarneau made his ATP main-draw debut at the 2021 National Bank Open after he received a wildcard into the doubles main draw alongside partner Félix Auger-Aliassime.

In 2022, he made his singles debut at the National Bank Open but lost to 15th-seeded Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov in the first round. Likewise, in 2023, he competed in a doubles event with partner Nicolas Moreno de Alboran at Little Rock Challenge but lost to Nam Ji-sung and Artem Sitak.

Galarneau played collegiate tennis at North Carolina State University from 2016 to 2021. There, he received several honors including the 2021 ITA Carolina Region Senior Player of the Year and the 2021 ITA Carolina Region Most Improved Senior.

As a junior, he achieved a career-high ranking of No. 97 in the ITF Juniors rankings. He has 44 singles and 42 doubles win on the ITF Junior Circuit.

Inspired by them, he began playing tennis at the age of eight. His parents did many sacrifices to train him. Earlier, he spent 25 hours a week training at the Nuns’ Island Tennis Club for further development.
