Amy Schneider is the contestant of America’s Favorite Quiz Show Jeopardy!

The transgender woman made history on the popular daytime game show on its 28 December episode. She tied the record for most wins by a woman, winning for the 20th time.

Schneider broke the previous record set by Julia Collins in 2014. She became the highest-earning woman contestant of Jeopardy!, making nearly $750,000 in regular season winnings.

Larissa Kelly held the previous record of the highest-earning woman contestant on Jeopardy with a total of $655,930. The multiple-time champion Larissa took Twitter to congratulate her for the victory.

Currently, Amy is in fourth place for highest winnings in regular-season play and in consecutive games won, trailing Matt Amodio, James Holzhauer, and Ken Jennings.

Amy is an American transgender woman from Oakland, California. She realized that she is transgender in 2016 and began living her life since then.

Schneider holds the job of an Engineering manager. She currently works at Fieldwire, an end-to-end jobsite software solution for the construction industry. She is a software engineer with more than two decades in the field.

“My tattoo is indeed of Ozma of Oz. For those who don’t know, L. Frank Baum wrote many sequels to The Wizard of Oz, and in all of them the ruler of Oz was Princess Ozma. She had been the rightful heir, but was kidnapped as a baby by a sorceress, who enchanted her to become a boy.”
