Aldrin announced the news through his Twitter, stating that he and his longtime love Faur have tied the knot in a small private ceremony in Los Angeles. Moreover, he added the pair were, ” as excited as eloping teenagers.”
Buzz is the oldest living person to have walked on the moon. As the Lunar Module Eagle pilot, he and mission commander Neil Armstrong were the first two people to land on the Moon on the 1969 Apollo 11 mission.
