Andre Goransson Wife Maya Jansen & His Family Life Explored

Andre Goransson is a Swedish professional tennis player specializing in doubles events. He has a career-high ATP doubles ranking of world no. 55, achieved on 3 April 2023.

Currently, he ranks world no. 68 in the ATP doubles ranking. He achieved a career-best ATP singles ranking of world no. 773 on 25 September 2017.


Goransson is now competing in the 2025 Australian Open with his doubles partner Sem Verbeek (Netherlands). The duo has already reached their Grandslam semifinal for the first time in their careers.

Similarly, he won his second title with Dutch partner Verbeek at the 2024 Hall of Fame Open in Rhode Island, United States. He has won 14 ATP Challenger titles and two Futures titles.

Before turning professional in 2018, he played collegiately at the University of California, Berkeley. There, he competed in the NCAA Singles Championship thrice, reaching the round of 32 twice.

Andre Goransson Married His Wife Maya Jansen In 2023

Andre is relishing a married life with his lovely wife Maya Jansen.

The couple exchanged wedding vows on 3 May 2023. They celebrated their wedding in front of their family and friends at  St Charles Hall in Meggen, Switzerland.

Goransson and Jansen first met while attending the University of California, Berkeley. They dated for a couple of years before getting married.

Moreover, she also played at The University of Alabama, where she was a two-time NCAA Doubles Champion.

As of now, she works as a Senior Manager of Executive Engagement at software development company named Salesforce.

Meet Andre Goransson’s Parents & Siblings

Andre was raised by Swedish parents in Höllviken in Skåne County, Sweden. His father is Hans Göransson and his mother is Monica Göransson.

Both his parents were tennis players and played on the tour and also played at American universities. He is accompanied by three older siblings; two brothers Tim Göransson and Claes Göransson, and a sister named Annie Göransson.

Andre’s love for tennis began in his early days as he used to watch his older siblings playing tennis. His sister Annie was a women’s tennis player at California Golden Bears and his brother Claes played collegiately at Indiana and VCU.

In his initial days, he was coached by his father, who was one of the primary tennis influences in his life. He began practicing with his older siblings at the age of 14.
