April Cao is the wife of the retired Navy captain, Hung Cao.
Hung is the candidate for the 2024 United States Senate elections. He was previously part of the 2022 United States House of Representatives elections in Virginia campaign.
Hung came to the United States in 1975 as a refugee from Vietnam. He then served in the US Navy for 25 years and 5 months.
During his tenure, Hung spent a few years in West Africa before settling with his family in Virginia.
He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in 1989. Hung then obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Ocean Engineering from the United States Naval Academy in 1996.
Additionally, he holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Physics, which he obtained from Naval Postgraduate School in 2008.

April and her husband, Hung, have been wife and husband for more than 25 years.

Starting their journey as best friends, the couple exchanged their wedding vows on 12 December 1998.
On the occasion of the Caos’ 25th wedding anniversary, Hung wrote on his Instagram account,
“To my wife and best friend. Thank you for 25 wonderful years.”
The couple lived in Purcellville, Virginia, where they raised their beautiful family.
April Cao Raises Five Kids With Husband
April has always been in every thick and thin of her husband since they decided to spend their lives together. Now, in their 26th year of matrimony, they have a beautiful family with whom to share their journey!
The Caos are parents to their five wonderful kids. After the nuptials, they welcomed three daughters and two sons into their lives.
