Brett Pesce is an American professional ice hockey player. Currently, he plays as a defenseman for the NHL team, the Carolina Hurricanes.
The athlete played collegiate hockey with the University of New Hampshire of the Hockey East. Following his freshman year, the Hurricanes selected him as a third-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
2021-22 was a weird year for Brett Pesce, who saw his 5-on-5 offensive impact take a step back despite taking the most shots of his NHL career.

Pesce forwent his final year of eligibility and penned a three-year entry-level contract with the Carolina Hurricanes. Afterward, he joined the Hurricanes AHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers, and spent two seasons there.
On October 24, 2015, he made his NHL debut in a 5–2 defeat against the San Jose Sharks. However, on February 22, 2020, he suffered a right shoulder injury and was ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.
Brett played high school hockey at Irvington High School in New York. Moreover, he played amateur youth hockey with the New Jersey Hitmen of the Eastern Junior Hockey League.

Bradlee played as a forward on the club hockey team at Vanderbilt University. There, he graduated with a degree in Economics in 2014.
Similarly, his younger brother Adam played ice hockey as a goaltender at high school.
Brett’s Contract & Salary
Pesce earns a salary of $4,025,000 from the Hurricanes. He penned a six-year, $24.15 million contract extension with the Hurricanes in August 2017.
