Brian Campbell is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He now ranks world no. 222 in the Official World Golf Ranking and has the best OWGR of no. 172. 

Currently, he is competing in the Mexican Open at Vallarta, Mexico. There, he sits in the second position behind South African Aldrich Potgieter. He has played in more than 27 PGA Tour events to date.

After turning professional in 2015, he made his debut at the Nova Scotia Open on the Web.com Tour. His best finish was a playoff defeat at the 2024 Astara Golf Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour.

Collegiately, he played at the University of Illinois from 2011 to 2015. There, he was named PING All-Region and Spring Academic All-Big Ten in 2015. He also won the 2015 NCAA Noblesville Regional and the 2014 NCAA Sugar Grove Regional.

As an amateur, he won the 2010 ClubCorp Mission Hill Desert Junior and The Macdonald Cup in 2013. Similarly, he finished tied for 27th and was the low amateur at the 2015 U.S. Open.

Campbell is 31 years old now. He was born Brian Patrick Campbell on 6 March 1993  in Newport Beach, California.

Standing at a height of 5 feet 10  inches, he attended Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. In high school, he won the AJGA Mission Hills Desert Junior event and was among the top 20 in three other AJGA events.

Afterward, he went to the University of Illinois, where he played collegiate golf. He graduated from the college in 2015. 

When not on the golf course, he enjoys hanging out at beaches, fishing, and working out. He says that he would be a soccer player if he did not play golf.

The youngest child in the family, he has a brother named Derek Campbell. Derek is a baseball player and was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2014 MLB Draft. He played collegiate baseball at the University of California.
