The show follows the day-to-day activities of alligator hunters living in the swamps of the Atchafalaya River Basin. It was first aired on 22 August 2010 and recently completed its 14th season in April 2023.
During his appearance on the show, he was seen with his hunting partner Aaron Lee. The duo was involved in hunting not only gators but also ducks.
Moreover, the duo experienced some dangerous close calls while filming in a Louisiana bayou. In the fourth episode, they lost while in a gator-infested bayou due to a lack of real knowledge about the swamp or its surrounding areas.
Theriot made his debut on the show in its 11th season which aired from 20 January to 16 April 2020. He has appeared in numerous episodes but he is no longer a cast member of the show.
