Chase Claypool is a Canadian professional American football player who plays in NFL for the Chicago Bears. The wide receiver previously played for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Prior to his NFL debut, Chase played college football at Notre Dame. He took over as Notre Dame’s number-one receiver in his senior year with the stats of 66 passes caught for 1,037 yards and 13 touchdowns.
During his college career, Chase managed to catch 150 passes for 2.159 yards with 19 touchdowns from 50 games. Previously, he played both American football and basketball at Abbotsford Senior Secondary School.

The wide receiver was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers as the 49th overall pick in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Later on 22 July 2020, Chase penned a four-year rookie contract with the Steelers worth $6.6 million.
His contract included a $2,372,092 signing bonus and a $3,282,848 guarantee. Besides, his average annual salary read $1,654,156. Chase’s salary for 2020 is $673,062.
Chase featured for the Steelers in 38 games. He ended up catching 149 passes for 1,999 receiving yards with 12 touchdowns.
