The player made his Leeds debut in the Premier League game against Newcastle United on 17 September 2021. He joined the team from the Dutch side Feyenoord for an undisclosed fee on 16 September 2020.
Summerville played youth football with the Feyenoord academy, joining the team in 2008. Prior to that, he was a youth player at RVVV Noorderkwartier.
While in Feyenoord, he had a loan spell at FC Dordrecht in the 2018–19 season. Afterward, he spent a season-long loan at ADO Den Haag for the 2018–19 season.
Internationally, he has represented the Netherlands’ U16 to U21 teams. He won the UEFA European Under-17 Championship with the team in 2018.
