Donna, a lifelong Jeopardy fan, took an online test for the first time during the COVID pandemic in 2020. She then went through two more rounds of auditions via Zoom and then waited until January 2026 before she got a call from the Jeopardy officials.
Regarding her Jeopardy experience, she says,
I really just wanted to just go on, have a good time, not embarrass myself and make memories. I was not thinking I was going to be the next tournament of champions winner. And I think I accomplished my goals.
