Ikeda has been married to her husband, Patrick McGuire, for more than two years now. The couple exchanged their wedding vows on 4 September 2022.
Ikeda and McGuire had to face a tough weekend before their nuptials. The unfortunate incident of McGuire being bitten by a venomous snake tried to sabotage their wedding.

The night before the couple’s wedding, Emilie and Patrick spent time with family in a rental home on a peak in the Smoky Mountains. Suddenly, Patrick noticed some discomfort in his ankle as the couple noticed a snake passing away.
Soon, the pair rushed inside and looked closer at the fang marks. Patrick was then rushed to the hospital, where he received treatment.
The couple spent a sleepless night before Patrick was discharged 12 hours later. They went on to complete their beautiful day with a happy ending.
