Erick Adame is an Emmy-nominated meteorologist who most recently worked for Spectrum News NY1.
The journalist was recently fired by the station for appearing on an adult webcam website. Posting on his Instagram, he stated that he was terminated from the job after his employer learned of his involvement on the site.
According to him, an anonymous on an adult website took nude photos of him and sent them to his boss and his mother.

Moreover, he apologized to his employer, his co-workers, his audience, and friends and family “for any embarrassment or humiliation
According to the New York Post, he has filed a lawsuit against the website — reportedly identified in court docs as Unit 4 Media LTD — in order to obtain the identity of the anonymous user who sent naked images of him on the site to NY1. He has said he intends to sue the use for taking and distributing the images without his consent.
Erick joined Spectrum News NY1 in 2017 after working at Spectrum News for a decade. He has over 15 years of experience in broadcast journalism, beginning his career at KAUZ-TV in 2006.
