Freddie Steward joined Leicester Tigers academy in 2017 and made his debut at the Wellington Festival.
Moreover, he made his first-team Tigers debut against Northampton Saints in January 2019. He was named Young Player of the Year at the 2020-21 Leicester Tigers Supporters’ Awards.
On 3 January 2020, he got a call-up to the England Under-20s squad in their Six Nations campaign.
Freddie watched the 2019 World Cup final at Loughborough with his university teammates. Two years later, he made his full debut for the senior England team on 4 July 2021, starting against the United States at Twickenham.
