Golden Globe Awards 2023 was held on 10 January 2023 at The Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills, California, the United States. The 80th annual ceremony was hosted by American stand-up comedian and actor, Jerrod Carmichael.
The nominees for this year’s Golden Globes were announced on 12 December 2022. The 2022 dark tragicomedy film, The Banshees of Inisherin led the nomination race with eight nominations, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and Best Director.

Similarly, the Netflix thriller Everything Everywhere All at Once was second on the list with six nominations. The ABC sitcom, Abbott Elementary led the nomination chart in the television category with six nominations.
