Hannah Klugman is a new British tennis sensation who has been demonstrating her quality on the court at such a young age.

At the same event in 2023, she recorded her first career win in a junior singles grand slam singles event when she defeated the seeded Italian Federica Urgesi.

Likewise, she also competed at the 2024 Australian Open in junior events. There, she alongside fellow British tennis player Mingge Xu reached the semifinal of the Girls’ doubles event.

Klugman was just 14 years old when she won the under-18 Orange Bowl in Florida by defeating  American Tyra Caterina Grant 6-3 6-3 in the final.

Furthermore, she became the youngest player aged 14 to qualify for a $100,000 event on the ITF Women’s World Tennis Tour, after coming through qualifying. Eventually, she beat the record set by American Coco Gauff.


Hannah has reached the quarterfinals of the girls’ singles and girls’ doubles at the 2023 US Open. Her early win includes the LTA Junior National Championships under-16 girls’ singles in April 2023.

Meet Hannah Klugman Parents Robert & Libby Klugman

Hannah was raised by her parents in Wimbledon, London.  Her father is Robert Klugman and her mother is Libby Klugman. She received constant support from her parents since day one and has reached a competitive level because of her family.

Libby is a graduate of the University of Oxford and has worked at a financial service company named ABN AMRO.


Klugman is the youngest of four daughters in the family. One of her sisters Alice Klugman is a field hockey player and has represented England at U18 level.

The athlete was introduced to tennis by her mother at an early age and used to play against a wall or with her mother. Moreover, her three older sisters also competed on the court at their local club  Westside in London.

Klugman’s Love For Tennis Began In 2020

Born on 18 February 2009, Klugman is 15 years old now. A native of Wimbledon, she was a keen hockey player, netballer, swimmer, and runner.

However, she decided to focus solely on tennis after the Covid-19-induced lockdown in England.

Regarding education, Hannah was studying at Wimbledon High School and decided to complete her GCSEs there. However,  in 2023, she switched to online learning because of her tennis schedule.

How Much Prize Money Hannah Klugman Has Earned?

Hannah has earned the prize money of $69,480 by playing singles and doubles events to date. Likewise, she earned $43,090 in the year 2024.

As of now, she ranks world no. 569 in the WTA singles ranking and no. 659 in the doubles ranking.
