The 21-years-of-age baseball player was born as Heston Sawyer Kjerstad to his parents, Dave Kjerstad and Jody Kjerstad on February 12, 1999. He grew up in his hometown of Amarillo, Texas, the United States, alongside his two brothers, Reid Kjerstad and Dex X Kjerstad, and a sister named McCall Kjerstad. His parents own and operate Amarillo’s Water Still since 1989. Besides, his brothers are all great athletes.

During his junior high school career, Heston batted .477 with 32 RBIs. Later, starting for the Arkansas Razorbacks, he batted .332 with 30 extra-base hits, 14 home runs, 58 RBIs. He also helped the team to the 2018 College World Series final and was named to the All-Tournament team. During his sophomore year, Heston was again named second-team All-SEC after batting .327 with 17 home runs and 51 RBI’s.

Furthermore, during the summer, Heston played for the Team USA Collegiate National Baseball Team and batted .395 in 14 games. He was recently selected as the second overall pick by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2020 MLB Draft.
