Henry made the media headlines recently after he was carjacked at gunpoint in Washington, DC. The police recovered Henry’s vehicle after he was carjacked in the Navy Yard neighborhood on Monday, 2 October 2023.

As per his interview on Tuesday evening, Henry mentioned that he was in front of his Washington, DC, apartment building when the incident happened. Henry was not harmed in the incident.
Henry was returning with an order of sushi to an apartment complex at around 9:30 p.m. As he got out of the car, he found himself surrounded by three men who ran towards him wearing ski masks. Two of them were pointing guns at him.
While Henry said that they could take his car, the carjackers also took his iPad and iPhone. However, the tracking device on the phone led the police to the car.
As the investigation is going on to catch the suspect, the Metropolitan Police Department mentioned in the statement that the U.S. Capitol Police has taken over the case. The statement read,
The Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of an armed carjacking Monday evening at approximately 9:32 p.m. at the intersection of New Jersey and K Street, Southeast. The victim was identified as a member of Congress and the United States Capitol Police took over the investigation. MPD is assisting Capitol Police’s Criminal Investigative Division,
