I don’t think I’ve ever had such an intense experience as when you first go on stage and realize this is going to be broadcast across the entire country. I can say that throughout the first segment of the episode, before the commercial break, my heart was beating out of my chest the entire time until I finally settled in. I don’t think anything can really prepare you for that until you actually get there.
Petrilli will make his debut on the 20 October episode of the show on Monday. As per the show’s format, he will meet two more contestants: a returning champion, Dargan Ware, and Amanda Tholke, a criminal defence attorney from Cincinnati, Ohio.

Ware registered his first win on his Jeopardy debut on the 17 October episode. An attorney and writer from Bessemer, Alabama, he has amassed total one-day winnings of $26,200.
