Sadly, Ballard’s wife, Jennifer Lynn Ballard, is no more in this world! She lost her life on 28 December 2024, after a 13-year-long brave battle with cancer.
Ballard shared the heartfelt news on his Instagram on 29 December 2024 while praising his strong and brave wife. He wrote,
My beloved wife Jenny fell asleep in God yesterday as I held her hand. I have loved her with my whole heart for 20 years.
Wife, Mother, Friend.
The most kind, illumined, graceful person I have ever met. As sweet behind closed doors as she was everywhere else. Vivacious, curious, intelligent, beautiful, and full to overflowing with light and love.
She has taught us that the glory of God is a person fully alive, awake, and joyful.
She fought cancer bravely and beautifully for almost 13 years, and now may she rest in peace with her Lord Jesus.
Ballard and Jennifer met each other at a barn dance in 2004. After three years of courtship, the pair exchanged their wedding vows in front of their friends and family on 2 September 2007 in Boulder, Colorado.
After nuptials, the married couple welcomed four children into their lives. They have a son named Titus Ballard, who is now 15 years old, and a daughter named Eden Ballard, who is now 14 years old.
