The Chiefs selected him with the 243rd Pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. In his first NFL start, he recorded his first interception and touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers, picking off Justin Herbert and returning it 99.5 yards.
Watson first played college football at Ventura College. Initially, he committed to transfer to USC but later decided to play at Washington State University.
