"As a military mom and grandmother of military-connected children, I know firsthand that they face challenges most Americans never have to face. They endure countless separations during training; send loved ones into harm’s way; they start over on different bases and in different towns again and again and again. We ask a lot of our military families. And, I believe that each of us – no matter where we live, no matter whether we’re connected to the military ourselves or not – should make our best efforts to show our support for military spouses, children, siblings, and parents." —Dr. Biden, at Escambia High School in Pensacola, Florida, announced expanded support for allowing children of service members and veterans access to the National Math and Science Initiative College Readiness Program for Military Families. #JoiningForces
