With this win, she becomes the fourth athlete since 2000 to win three or more times in her 30s after winning for the first time ever at 30 years or older. Well, it was her third win on the PGA Tour.
Firstly, she won the CPKC Women’s Open by two strokes ahead of Japanese Mao Saigo on 28 July 2024. Likewise, she captured her second LPGA Tour title, winning the ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open on 18 August 2024.

Born on 27 September 1992, she played at the University of Virginia between 2011 and 2016, where she was named an All-American and was the 2016 ACC individual champion. She won the Virginia Women’s Amateur in 2012 and 2013 and won the Virginia Women’s Stroke Play Championship in 2014.
Currently, Lauren ranks world no. 32 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings and has a career-best rank of no. 22.

As per wiki, he is originally from Matoaca, Virginia, and spent his early life with his family there. His father is Marikaye Pond, and his mother is Lindsey Pond. Additionally, he is accompanied by a younger brother named James Pond.
Standing at a height of 6 feet 3 inches, he played football during his high school and college days. He attended Matoaca High School, graduating in 2011.
Pond then went to the University of Virginia and played collegiate football from 2011 to 2015. There, he was recognized on the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

The couple exchanged the wedding vows on 20 January 2018. Their wedding ceremony was held at the UVA University Chapel, a Church in the University of Virginia. Likewise, they organized their reception at The Colonnade Club at UVA.
