As a one-day champion, he has amassed total winnings of $36,199. The other new contestant will be Katie Hoppenjans, a luxury travel marketer from Atlanta, Georgia.

A native of Glendale, California, he was raised by his parents there. Moreover, his surname suggests that he has Hispanic heritage.
