Who Is Justin Bolsen From Jeopardy? His Wiki & Family Life Details

Justin Bolsen is a freshman at Brown University from Canton. He will compete in Jeopardy! High School Reunion Tournament, the first-ever competition this year.

Well, 27 former teen contestants will be facing off in a 14-day special event. The winner will receive a $100,000 grand prize and a spot in the Tournament of Champions.


The other quarterfinal set will air on 23 February 2023. There, he will compete with Shriya Yarlagadda, a Sophomore at Harvard University from Grand Blanc, Michigan, and Teagan O’Sullivan, a First-Year Student at American University from Watertown, Massachusetts.

Justin was the youngest contestant to participate in Jeopardy Teen Tournament in 2019. There, he finished up being a semifinalist and won $10,000.

Justin Bolsen Wiki & Age

Justin is 18 years old now. He was just 14 years old when he participated in Jeopardy Teen Tournament in 2019.

An avid swimmer, he trained at SwimAtlanta. He is a sprint freestyler with yards bests of 25.10 in the 50 and 55.57 in the 100. 

Bolsen grew up watching people compete by answering quiz questions and winning cash prizes on Jeoapardy!  He is a two-time state middle school history bee champion and a one-time state middle school academic bee champion.

Likewise, his middle school academic bowl team won the state tournament two years in a row. He was in sixth grade when he qualified for the National Science Bee in Washington, D.C.

Bolsen was raised by his parents in Canton, Georgia, United States. His father is Toby Bolsen and his mother is Sandra Bolsen.

Toby is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Georgia State University. He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science and Government from Northwestern University in 2010.

Justin is the eldest of two children of his parents. He has a sister named Katelyn Bolsen. Besides, his other family members consist of his grandmother, uncle, and aunt.

Justin Bolsen High School & College

Bolsen attended Creekland Middle School in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Afterward, he went to Creekview High School and graduated as his class salutatorian in May 2022. There, he earned the 2022 National Merit Scholarship as a senior.

After high school, he went to Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He is a first-year student and will graduate in 2026.
