Lauren Kreidler is an American journalist who now works in a meteorologist position at WINK News in Fort Myers. She joined the CBS affiliate station in June 2023.

Besides, she is a digital content creator for Weather With Lauren, a series of weather social media accounts. There, she posts weather content to educate and share her passion with my community and beyond.
Prior to that, she worked behind the scenes at WPTV as a saffinity for the weather goes back to when her own house was severely damaged due to a series of tropical systems that impacted South Florida when she was just six years old.
After coming home from volunteering with her family at a hurricane shelter, her house was severely damaged. Seeing just how much these storms can have an impact on local communities inspired her greatly.

When she was in middle school, she started to job shadow the meteorologists at her local West Palm Beach news station, where she fell even further in love with broadcast meteorology.
Kreidler’s goal is to be able to help people by educating my community about the incredible forces of Mother Nature and how they can stay safe when disaster strikes. She is thrilled to be forecasting the weather in sunny southwest Florida and hopes to inspire the next generation to follow their passions and to (storm) chase after their dreams.

Kreidler pursued her high school education at Palm Beach Gardens Community High School, graduating in 2017.
