Layne Riggs is a professional stock car race driver currently competing part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. He drives the No. 1 Toyota Tundra for Tricon Garage, the No. 02 Chevrolet Silverado for Young’s Motorsports, and the No. 7 Silverado for Spire Motorsports.

Riggs won the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series championship in September 2022. He became a champion by winning 16 races, 29 top fives, and 35 top tens racing at Dominion Raceway, Hickory Motor Speedway, South Boston Speedway, and Wake County Speedway. Eventually, he became the youngest driver to win the championship, beating out Peyton Sellers who won it in 2005.

In August 2023, he made his Truck Series debut at the Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, driving the No. 7 truck for Spire Motorsports. He qualified 12th and ran inside the top ten for the entire race, and ultimately scored his best-career finish of third.
Furthermore, he made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut for Kaulig Racing in the Texas fall race in September 2023. He ran three races including the Las Vegas and Martinsville Speedway.
Earlier in his career, he made his debut in the CARS Late Model Stock Tour on his 14th birthday on 11 June 2016. He won the Rodney Cook Classic at Ace Speedway in 2019.
