Lucy Oliver is popularly known as the wife of the popular football referee Michael Oliver. Michael is an English professional football referee hailing from Ashington, Northumberland.
After being promoted to the Select Group of Referees in 2010, he has been officiating primarily in the Premier League. In 2011, he became the youngest-ever referee to take charge of a Premier League game.

A son of referee Clive Oliver, Michael is a member of the Northumberland Football Association. He received his FIFA badge in 2012, which allowed him to officiate in major international matches.
Furthermore, he was promoted to the UEFA Elite Group of Referees in 2018. He has officiated other league games such as the FA Community Shield, the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup, the 2022 UEFA Super Cup, and the UEFA Champions League.

As per wiki, she hails from Drayton, a residential area of the city of Portsmouth. Her father ran football clubs and her brother is also a referee.
Growing up, she and her family were the fans of the Portsmouth Football Club. Moreover, she was also a season ticket holder for her favorite football club.
Regarding her education, she pursued her early education at Springfield School. Later, she earned an LLB degree from the University of Portsmouth. Additionally, she earned a Master’s degree from the same college.
Lucy Oliver Held Several Jobs Before Being A Refree
Lucy was a football player in the early phase of her life. However, early injuries compelled her to hang up her boots and begin refereeing games. She first officiated a men’s football match at the age of 16.

Lucy also served as a lecturer at South Downs College in Waterlooville, England. She then worked as a development officer for the Football Association (FA) for the Newcastle United FC.

Currently, she is pursuing her career as a football referee just like her husband. She has refereed for three seasons at The Women’s Super League. Additionally, she also officiates men’s non-league football.
Lucy & Michael Oliver Got Married In 2015
Lucy and her husband Michael have been married for almost a decade. They tied the wedding knot in June of 2015.
The pair seemingly have known each other since more than a decade ago. Nevertheless, the pair does not reveal much regarding her married life.

Back in August 2015, Lucy was the referee of the Continental Cup game between Arsenal Ladies and Reading FC Women. Her husband was pulled from the crowd to help run the line as one of the officials was injured.
