Timofeeva has won one singles title on the WTA Tour which was in July 2023. She won the Budapest Grand Prix in Hungary by defeating Ukrainian Kateryna Baindl in three sets in the final. Eventually, she became only the fourth lucky loser in WTA Tour history to win a singles title and the first since 2019.

Likewise, she has won five singles titles and six doubles titles on the ITF Circuit throughout her career. Her major ITF title win was at the W40 Monastir 2023 Tennis Tournament in Tunisia in January 2023. Additionally, she achieved her career-best ITF Singles Ranking of no. 84 on 25 April 2022.

In 2023, she played in the qualifiers for the US Open, Wimbledon, and the French Open but was not able to reach the main draw of the Grand Slam tournament. She also competed in the 2023 Hamburg Open and was defeated by the No. 7 seed Arantxa Rus in the first round.
